The Steppe

Part of an ongoing enquiry into the Eurasian steppe, this photo set focuses on the expansive steppe and desert-steppe zones of eastern and southern Mongolia. Shot mostly in the Menen steppe, as well as in the borderlands of the Gobi desert in the south, the series observes the traces of human presence in a vast landscape.
