Water Lane

A developing study to accompany my Masters of Research thesis, looking at relations between landscape and storytelling at a site of urban regeneration in Exeter. The area I’m studying is Water Lane, a site with a history where physical and cultural geographies meet through canals, railways, and industrial and agricultural production. The photographs act as representational traces to offer insights into social and material memory, and cues for imagining heritage futures.
